Formula
| Note | C | Eb | F | Gb | G | Bb |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interval | 1 | ♭3 | 4 | ♭5 | 5 | ♭7 |
Step formula: 1–♭3–4–♭5–5–♭7 (T = whole step, Y = half step)
How to practise it
- First memorise the 4-fret box starting on the root; play it up and down at 60 BPM with a metronome.
- Play each note cleanly; use alternate picking (down-up).
- Raise the tempo by 5 BPM each day; the Scales tool in Gitarist Okulu listens through the mic to check you.
